Eric Paul is Vice President of Partner Development at Nautilus Solar Energy, where he leads the origination team with a focus on acquiring development-stage distributed generation projects. With more than a decade of experience in solar project development, acquisition, and financing, Eric brings a unique combination of strategic insight and relationship-driven leadership to his role.
Eric held prior business development roles at Green Charge Networks (now Engie Storage), SunEdison, and Ecoplexus. Over the years, he has built a strong track record of finding creative solutions that meet the needs of Nautilus’s development partners—helping turn their early-stage ideas into successful, financeable solar projects. Known for his ability to maintain trusted, long-term relationships, Eric is hands-on throughout the entire transaction process, ensuring alignment from deal structuring to execution.
His passion for the clean energy transition is rooted in the industry's fast-paced, constantly evolving nature—and in the opportunity to solve one of the world’s most important challenges: how to meet growing energy demand with sustainable solutions. Eric is especially proud that Nautilus’s community solar projects bring real value to low-income subscribers and others who typically can’t access clean energy.
A go-to partner in the industry, Eric is valued for both his collaborative approach and his reputation for consistently delivering results. He has served as a mentor to young professionals in the clean energy space, helping develop the next generation of industry leaders. Eric holds a B.A. in Economics from Carleton College and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
