Camelia Miu is Chief Financial Officer at Nautilus Solar Energy, where she leads all financial operations supporting the company’s mission of expanding access to clean, affordable energy through community solar.
With over 25 years of experience in finance and more than 19 years in the renewable energy sector, Camelia brings deep industry expertise and a strategic, mission-driven perspective to Nautilus. She began her clean energy career in wind before moving into solar, where she found a resilient and impactful market. A strong advocate for community solar, Camelia values its ability to reach underserved customers, including renters and multifamily residents who typically lack access to traditional rooftop solar. As a community solar subscriber herself, she understands firsthand the importance of democratizing clean energy.
Known for her results-driven yet compassionate leadership style, Camelia sets high standards while nurturing careers and fostering a supportive team culture. She is proud to contribute to the fight against climate change and believes that empowering her team is essential to long-term success.
Camelia holds a B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
