Ashley Kender
Director, Financial Planning and Analysis
Ashley Kender is Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Nautilus Solar Energy, where she leads forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and the company’s continued growth. In her role, she partners closely with leaders across the organization to provide clear financial insight that helps guide long-term planning and day-to-day execution in support of Nautilus’s mission to expand access to clean, affordable energy.
Before joining Nautilus, Ashley held finance leadership roles at Morton Salt, where she supported large-scale North American salt strategies, including new product evaluations, long-range planning, and retail marketing P&L management. Earlier in her career, she worked at E.ON, supporting global wind and solar operations and contributing to financial reporting, operational planning, and strategic initiatives across the U.S. and Europe.
Known for her collaborative approach and analytical rigor, Ashley brings structure and clarity to complex business decisions. She is passionate about using financial strategy as a tool to help organizations scale responsibly and create lasting impact.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling, family hikes, sewing/crafting, and interior design. She is proud to be part of an industry working toward a more sustainable future.
