New Community Solar Farm Helps the Environment and the Economy

A community solar farm built former sand quarry was officially opened in North Berwick, ME. Melissa Hanson of Nautilus Solar Energy describes how the company took compromised land and used it to help produce clean energy and benefit the community. 35% of the labor used in the project's construction was sourced locally offering a boost to the local economy.
