Community Solar Farm Opens in Maine, Generating Power for Dozens of Businesses

The new Nautilus Community Solar farm officially opened on a former sand quarry in North Berwick, ME. The community solar farm will generate ten million kilowatt hours of electricity per year which is the equivalent of removing 1,500 cars off the road and saving the planet 7 million tons of planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions. Melissa Hanson of Nautilus Solar Energy explains how off-takers will save on their electric bills by subscribing to community solar.
