These Promotions Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any sweepstakes, raffle, giveaway, contest, or other promotional offering (“Promotion”) sponsored, administered, or offered by Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” “our”) to eligible participants located in the United States, unless a Promotion’s specific Official Rules (“Promotion Rules”) state otherwise. If there is any conflict between these Terms and a Promotion’s Promotion Rules, the Promotion Rules control for that Promotion.

1) Definitions:

“Sweepstakes”: A promotion where winners are selected by random drawing (chance) and no purchase/payment is required to enter.

“Giveaway”: A general term that may refer to a Sweepstakes or other Promotion.

“Contest”: A Promotion where winners are selected based on skill (e.g., judging criteria), not chance.

“Raffle”: A Promotion where participants typically obtain “chances” (tickets or entries) and winners are selected by chance.

“Administrator”: Any vendor we use to operate a Promotion (if applicable).

“Entry”: A valid submission into a Promotion meeting the requirements in the Promotion Rules.

3) Eligibility.

3.1 Promotions are open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.

3.2 Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, and any Promotion vendors, and each of their immediate family/household members, are not eligible.

3.3 Void outside the United States and where prohibited.

4) Promotion Period.

Each Promotion begins and ends at the dates/times listed in the Promotion Rules (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer/clock is the official timekeeping device.

5) How to Enter.

Each Promotion’s entry methods are described in the Promotion Rules.

5.1 Sweepstakes / Giveaway (No Purchase Necessary): NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN; A purchase does not increase odds of winning.

5.2 Contest (Skill-Based): Where a Promotion is a Contest, the Promotion Rules will describe the skill/judging criteria and scoring method; any content requirements and restrictions.

5.3 Raffles: Participants will earn tickets/chances in accordance with the contest rules, usually there should be an option to obtain tickets/chances without purchase. A purchase may increase the odds of winning in the event multiple tickets/chances can be obtained. Raffles are subject to varying state and local requirements as they can be considered a lottery, which can be regulated as a form of gambling. The specific entrance and winning conditions will be specified in each specific raffle’s terms and conditions based on the location of the contest.

6) Entry Limits & Requirements.

Limit one (1) entry per person/email/address per day (or as specified). Entries must be complete, accurate, and submitted within the Promotion Period. Automated, scripted, or bot entries are prohibited and may result in disqualification.

7) Prizes.

Prizes, approximate retail value (“ARV”), quantity, and odds disclosures (if required/used) will be stated in the Promotion Rules. Unless prohibited by law, Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for all taxes and any costs not expressly stated as included.

8) Winner Selection & Notification.

8.1 Sweepstakes / Giveaway: Winners are selected by random drawing from eligible Entries received. Winner notification method (email/phone/mail) and response deadline will be stated in the Promotion Rules.

8.2 Contest: Winner selection is based on the judging criteria in the Promotion Rules. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding, to the extent permitted by law.

8.3 Raffle: Winner selection timing/location will be in the Promotion Rules and must comply with local licensing rules tied to the key location.

9) Publicity Release.

Except where prohibited by law, by participating and/or accepting a prize, participants grant Sponsor and its designees the right to use their name, city/state, likeness, voice, statements, and/or submitted content for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide, without further compensation.

10) Marketing, Communications & Privacy.

By entering, participants may be required to provide personal information. Sponsor will use personal information to administer the Promotion, deliver prizes, and for other purposes described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

11) Content Standards.

Submissions must be original or properly licensed. Submissions may not contain unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content. Entrants grant Sponsor a license to use submissions as described in the Promotion Rules.

12) Prohibited Conduct.

Sponsor may disqualify any participant suspected of tampering with the Promotion or entry process; violating these Terms or the Promotion Rules; using fraudulent means or automated methods to enter; or abusing, threatening, or harassing others.

13) Release of Liability.

Participants release and hold harmless Sponsor and related parties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14) Disputes; Governing Law; Venue.

Venue: Cook County, Illinois, unless otherwise required by law.

15) General Conditions.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs integrity or proper functioning.

16) Winner List / Official Rules Requests.
