2025 was a milestone year at Nautilus Solar Energy! Here’s a quick recap of what we were up to.

In 2025, we generated more than 588 million kWh of energy across our 163 operational community solar farms. That’s enough clean energy to power approximately 82,395 homes’ electricity use for the year.

Our impact goes beyond just clean renewable energy. Nautilus Solar...
- paid out over $6.1 million in lease payments to local landowners and farmers, supporting family farms and rural incomes.
- invested $6.3 million in local services to keep our solar farms operating reliably.
- contributed $5.4 million in state taxes, helping fund public services, infrastructure, and community initiatives.

Our 53,000+ customers directly help power everything we do. They include a diverse mix of households and organizations, including:
- 62% residences and renters
- 7% low-to-moderate income residents
- 31% commercial, industrial, and nonprofit organizations
Across 12 states, we helped our customers save a jaw dropping $9.7 million on electricity bills! And in 2026, we expect those customer savings to grow even more.

Nautilus Solar energized nine new solar farms across four states: Illinois, Maryland, Rhode Island, and New York. Together, these projects add 85 MW of new generation capacity to the energy grid—enough to power approximately 20,000 additional households. We also celebrated the completion of our first project in Delaware.
We marked several of these milestones with celebratory ribbon cuttings, including:

Internally, Nautilus Solar reached major milestones—relocating our headquarters to the heart of Chicago and surpassing 500 MW, or half a gigawatt, of total generation capacity.
We also donated more than $100,000 to nonprofit organizations including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, matching a pledge made by Turning Point Energy.
These achievements reflect a year of meaningful growth, and we're excited for another year of sunshine and customer savings in 2026.
