What to expect after you sign up for community solar
Successfully Enroll in Community Solar
Once you successfully complete your enrollment at https://enrollment.nautilussolar.com, you'll be assigned to a solar farm and will start to receive monthly solar savings.
We Assign You to a Solar Farm
You don't need to take any additional action to get assigned to a farm. On our end, we assign you to an operational farm as soon as possible.
The farm you are assigned to may either be operational or still under construction:
- If the Solar Farm is Already Operational: Once assigned, your allocation of the farm immediately starts producing solar energy for your monthly electricity bills.
- If the Solar Farm is Still Under Construction: Most solar farms are energized and start sending power into the electricity grid within 3-9 months. Once your farm is connected to the grid, it starts generating clean energy for you and your community. We'll let you know when your farm goes live and when to expect your first statement. Until then, your service and billing remain the same.
When Will You Start Receiving Savings
Once your community solar farm is up and running, you'll typically see the first solar energy credits applied to your utility bill within 1-3 billing cycles.
Your 1st Nautilus Solar Statement Arrives
Your statement shows the amount of solar energy your portion of the solar farm generated. You'll be billed for this at a discount of what your utility company would charge.
With Nautilus Solar, you will receive one of the following billing methods based on your state and utility company:
- Dual-Billing: Customers receive two bills each month. They receive one from their utility as usual and a second from Nautilus Solar Energy.
- One-Billing: Customers receive one monthly statement from Nautilus Solar with charges for both solar energy and your utility company included.
- Consolidated Billing: Customers receive one monthly statement from their utility for both solar energy and utility charges.
Access Your Customer Account
To access the customer portal:
- Go to https://nautilussolar.com/account.
- Enter your login credentials:
- Username: The email address associated with your account.
- Password: The password you created during the enrollment process. If you forgot your password, there's an option to reset it.
- Log in to access your Nautilus Solar customer portal dashboard.
