With your profile completed, let’s capture your utility information.
As it relates to your usage, know that each solar farm has a fixed amount of capacity we can expect them to produce. And we need to ensure your utility usage – in combination with everyone else assigned to that solar farm – does not exceed that production.
In the Bayou Energy form, enter your Username and Password for your utility company and click VERIFY. We will then use Bayou Energy to verify your account number(s), and your energy usage so we can allocate the appropriate number of solar credits from the solar farm to your home or business. As a reminder, it is these solar credits, purchased at the discount rate for your state, that are applied to your electricity bill to reduce the overall cost you pay each month.
If successful, you’ll see a message appear on the screen that has a checkmark with the word “SUCCESS” beside it. If you scroll down a little, you’ll see your account number(s). Select the correct one for enrollment.

If you attempt to login more than 3 times and your information is still coming back incorrect, check your utility credentials or try again later as Bayou Energy may be down.
Once you successfully enter your utility info, in the fields below, Bayou Energy will auto populate your service address with the information provided by your utility company (or verify you used the correct utility account login credentials). Verify that this information is correct. If you want to change your service address, you will need to contact your utility company to update your account or try logging in with a different utility account.
If your mailing address differs from your service address, click this check box to input the correct address.
If you clicked the checkbox for low-income assistance on the previous page, two options will appear here. Either: “I don’t qualify for discount programs’ OR “I participate in a low-income assistance program’. You can view the qualifications listed here. If you do qualify, select the assistance program you are a part of, and you can attach a document associated with that program. This will ensure your onboarding is as smooth as possible.
