Positions Nautilus at the national level to perform Financial, Operational and Physical Management Activities Essential for the Successful Performance of Solar Energy Systems as a Financial Asset
SUMMIT, N.J. (February 1, 2017) — Nautilus Solar Energy LLC, a leader in solar power development throughout the United States and Canada, announces the appointment of Stefanie Padgett as Vice President Nautilus Solar Solutions, Nautilus’s integrated solar asset management services platform. The division draws upon Nautilus’s ten years of experience in solar financing, construction, and management to deliver to third parties both the physical and financial aspects of asset management.
Stefanie brings to Nautilus a 14-year track record of success in O&M and sales of power products and services. She was most recently the Senior Sales Manager at First Solar, where she led both First Solar internal O&M sales as well as third party customers. Prior to that, she was at GE Power Conversion, where she led a global sales team, and at ABB, where she was responsible for utility accounts.
“Stefanie’s ability to maximize asset performance will position Nautilus to drive deeper into both the asset management and O&M business on a national level. Nautilus’s goal is to expand both its services and geographic reach to meet the needs of the evolving market,” said Laura Stern, Nautilus’s President. “Stefanie will lead Nautilus’s charge into broader asset management services such as energy scheduling and storage integration.”
The division takes an integrated approach to managing solar photovoltaic projects, bringing construction, operations and maintenance and financial asset management services together under one roof. By bringing these often discrete services together, Nautilus is able to increase productivity, efficiency and profitability of its customers’ portfolios. The company offers third-party asset management support – through comprehensive packages or customized groupings of select services – to commercial and industrial project owners, utilities, and financial investors and stakeholders.
“Nautilus is in a unique position to capitalize on the synergies between asset management and O&M product offerings. The team has successfully demonstrated its leadership in solar asset management capabilities over the last decade. I am excited to leverage this breadth of experience to expand the scope of our business model and to exceed the growing demands of the solar industry and our customers,” commented Ms. Padgett.
