
Jim Rice, CEO, is an energy industry professional with over 30 years experience in the sector. He has operated, financed and invested in energy assets during his career. He has experience leading numerous m&a, corporate finance, and merchant banking transactions relating to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and public & private fund-raising. Prior to developing Riverstone/Carlyle's power sector private equity effort from 2002 – 2004, Mr. Rice was a Managing Director and Group Head leading Wachovia Securities' Utility & Power Technology Group from 2000-2002. Prior to Wachovia, Mr. Rice was a Managing Director in the Natural Resources & Power Group at J.P. Morgan & Co. He began his career on Wall Street at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1988-1994. Mr. Rice served as a nuclear-trained U.S. Naval Officer, serving onboard the ballistic missile submarine USS Simon Bolivar (SSBN 641). He has a BS in Mathematics (Operations Analysis) from the United States Naval Academy and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Laura E. Stern, President, With over twenty years of project finance and power industry experience, Ms. Stern has sourced, structured and executed over $3 billion of power, energy and infrastructure investments. At BayernLB, she specialized in originating and structuring renewable energy debt financings, primarily in the wind sector. As a founding member of GMAC's project finance group, Ms. Stern sourced and closed senior debt financings for greenfield power development and acquisitions of distressed assets. Prior to that at CIBC, she structured and syndicated leveraged loans in the power sector as well as gaming and telecommunications. Ms. Stern began her career as a consultant with Price Waterhouse, advising the Philippine Government on the privatization of its power, water and wastewater sectors. She holds a AB from Harvard University and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies.

Brian Quinlan, Executive Vice President, Mr. Quinlan is an experienced power industry executive with a diverse background developed throughout his 25 year career. Most recently, Mr. Quinlan was a Managing Director of Lars Energy, LLC where he managed the development and financing of waste heat to energy and solar PV projects. In 2005, Mr. Quinlan co-founded Argos Utilities Corporation, a transmission & distribution construction and maintenance company, and raised $30 million of equity and a $20 million debt facility to finance acquisitions and the organic growth of the company. He has held senior management positions in finance and corporate development at The Shaw Group and PG&E National Energy Group where he financed strategic acquisitions and developed gas fired, coal and hydroelectric power plants. Mr. Quinlan also has experience in power plant operations and mechanical engineering design as a Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Power Corporation and as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy nuclear power submarine program. Mr. Quinlan received his MBA in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Marina Shapiro, Vice President and Controller, brings ten years of progressive accounting and finance experience to Nautilus. Prior to joining Nautilus, Marina spent three years working as a controller in the renewable energy sector. Marina began her career with KPMG providing attestation and consulting services to both public and private companies. She holds a BS in Economics and Accounting from University of Haifa, Israel and is a CPA licensed in the State of New Jersey.
 David Munsky, Vice President, Business Development, brings over four years of engineering and finance expertise in the solar industry. David began his career at Lockheed Martin where he designed both photovoltaic and utility scale concentrated solar power systems. He is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and is a US patent holder. David holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University.
 David Velasco, Director, Operations, brings over five years of engineering and project management expertise in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Nautilus, he designed and developed utility scale concentrated solar power systems and has three US patents pending. David is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership Development Program and holds a US Patent in solar technology. David holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a MS in Systems Engineering from Cornell University.
